Desmodium elegans (aka tilifolium)

Desmodium elegans
Soft green foliage and understated mauve flowers over a long period in late summer and autumn.
Desmodium are not much seen in British gardens, possibly because they are neither shrubs nor climbers but instead send out long pliable stems that in the wild are partly supported by other plants. This habit hasn't stopped us growing rambling roses or Solanum crispum however and all they need is either a lot of other vigorous shrubs to grow through or to be tied in to a wall or fence.
Fully hardy in a wide variety of conditions.

Please please please, may I humbly request that you check with me that the plants you require are in stock before you order? Otherwise we'll have to arrange refunds.
Thank you so much.
