Ribes x beatonii (previously x gordonianum)

Ribes x beatonii
A hybrid between the common pink flowering currant, R.sanguineum and the yellow flowered R.odoratum and to my mind better than either of them. The flowers are an unusual burnished peachy orange and complemented by glossy coppery tinted new foliage.
Ribes x beatonii
Very special. Apparently this hybrid should henceforth be known as R. x beatonii.
