Symphyotrichum sericeum (Aka Aster sericeus)

Symphyotrichum sericeum
The Silky Aster. Asters are so often let down by their scruffy foliage - not this time. In this case the delicate violet flowers are set among silky shiny leaves on black wiry stems. A small species, less than 18ins high, and apparently new to cultivation in the UK, this should be easy to grow on a well-drained soil in full sun.
Sold out for now
