Modiolastrum lateritium

An easy-going and cheerful creeping mallow from temperate eastern South America, with loads of 2inch pale pink flowers, zoned with red toward the golden centre, all summer. 

A reliable ground cover for a sunny well-drained spot that doesn't get out of hand. Hard frosts may kill the top growth but it'll usually come back from the roots.
